Formed in 1991 and based in the vibrant regional city of Townsville, North Queensland, Ark Homes' parent company, NPM Group Pty Ltd, is a 100% Australian owned construction and project management company.  

NPM Group has successfully operated as project managers, contractors and modular home builders for over sixteen years and through its principals, Tom and Jill Cummins, for more than 30 years in the home and commercial building industry.  Operating predominantly in Australia and the Pacific region, the company has extensive experience in the design and construction of large projects principally for Government and major corporate bodies.  These include:

• Large group housing projects for mining townships
• Establishment and development of several new towns in Central Queensland
• Remote community housing and infrastructure upgrades
• Design and construction of destination resorts
• Design and construction of major shopping centres

While working in remote areas it became evident to Tom and Jill that there was an inequality in the cost and availability of housing to people in rural and remote areas compared to that available to their city cousins.  

Ark Homes was established in recognition of this need to provide clients in all areas with equal access to value packed quality homes, sooner.

Overarched by a strong focus on quality assurance, the Ark Homes end-to-end solution flows through six building blocks to deliver client satisfaction.
